Arthedain

Arthedain
   One of the three kingdoms into which Arnor was divided in the ninth century of the Third Age; bounded by the rivers Baranduin and Lhûn, extending eastwards to the Weather Hills, and with its chief place at Fornost.

   Last Realm of the Northern Kings. One of three kingdoms formed from the breakup of Arnor.
   The westernmost region of the lost realm of Arnor; when that land was divided between the sons of Eärendur, Arthedain became a kingdom in its own right, and was ruled by Eärendur's eldest son Amlaith and his decendants.
